Hardware Requirements

Ostendo can be installed on workstation, server or cloud server. Please ensure your workstation or server meets or exceeds the minimum specifications detailed below.
As you add extra users, you may wish to increase the server or workstation specification.
All computer networks must have at least UTP Category 5 Cable and 100mbps network speed.
Please also ensure all workstations are running “Microsoft TCP/IP” network protocol in a networked environment.

Back-Up Drive, Software and Tapes:

The Back-Up Drive is configured to support the Workstation or Server and Peripherals. Please back-up the software daily.

UPS:

The UPS is connected to the Workstation or Server to provide protection against power surges and power outs. 60 minutes minimum back-up power supply is recommended.
